Well this was such a lovely find today. After an incredible week of concerts & gallivanting around Philadelphia (Friendly Fires Tuesday, The Black Angels Thursday) and an intense week of work, I arrived home Friday night and I was struck with a serious sudden illness that left me sleeping for over 20 hours and being a real zombie in my house instead of out on the town this Halloween weekend. Since Halloween is my favorite holiday, this left me totally heartbroken and watching every episode of every season of Skins while in and out of sleep. Now all that’s left is an intense love for Freddie who ended up getting murdered by Effie’s Psychologist with a baseball bat, and an extreme desire to get out of the house. Although I am still feeling zombie-ish, I am dressing up in my costume and going to see SBTRKT tonight with some friends. SBTRKT’s debut album is INCREDIBLE and I am so excited to dance off whatever illness is currently plaguing me with friends I love. If anything is going to make me feel better it’s music. When I found this music video for one of my favorite bands Bombay Bicycle Club, I was moved by how perfect it is for how I am feeling right now. I am also posting a song by SBTRKT because I am so getting my dance on tonight to make up for the rest of the weekend. I hope all of your Halloween weekends were far more thrilling than mine!
