obsessed xx: !!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE XX RELEASE NEW SINGLE “ANGELS” !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, 2012 has just rocked so hard so far, am I right? It seems that all of my favorite bands are coming out with new music, and when I saw The XX released this new song today I couldn’t click the link faster. The band stated on their Facebook account, “It’s been a long time since we’ve played you anything new. This song is called Angels, it is the first single from our new album, Coexist. We’ve been playing this song live recently, so it feels good to share with you the version we’ve been working on for so long. We hope you like it. xx The xx”. Of course, the song is just fucking gorgeous like you can expect from The XX. Check out “Angels” below, and look for the new album from The XX Coexist out September 10th (11th in the US):

obsessed xx: The Killers new single “Runaways” / New Album “Battle Born” / Playing Firefly Festival this weekend!!

YAY! Speaking of favorite bands being back…The Killers just released their new gorgeous, epic, Bruce-Springsteen-storytelling beauty of a single, “Runaways”. If this song is any indication of how glorious their new album Battle Born is going to be, my heart is doing cartwheels in anticipation! This weekend The Killers will be one of the many bands I am obsessed with to play Firefly Music Festival in Dover, Delaware. It is going to be a really, really good time!
