Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and luckily, it is also one of Philly’s favorite holidays. A week or so ago none of my friends seemed to know what they were doing and by last Thursday, we realized we officially have too many things we need to fit in this weekend… but we happily accept the challenge.
Friday:
Hazard Halloween Bash – this secret party at HH Ranch features some of our favorite local artists covering our favorite bands including: Dulls as Smashing Pumpkins, Mage Hand as No Doubt, Negative Creeps (mem. of Harsh Vibes) as Nirvana, Zinske as other songs your obsessed with, The Vernes as Talking Heads, Total Discharge as Liz Phair. Give your donation of $5-$7 at the door and all proceeds will go to the United for Puerto Rico effort!
Death 2 Disco: 80s Halloween Party at Dolphin– Resident DJs Jason Hunter and Ed Christof will be spinning 80s dance classics all night at Dolphin! Tickets for guaranteed are available here or just bring $5 to the door.
Making Time PURE Halloween Warehouse Project– Making Time is back throwing a sick Halloween dance party at Warehouse on Watts from 10pm-6am. MT’s Halloween last year was rad as always, make sure you get your tickets now here before they sell out!
Saturday:
Whether you’ve been dancing all night and need to refuel, and/or prepping for a long night of dancing ahead, stop by Milkcrate cafe for brunch and a DJ set featuring Grey Haas! Brunch with Grey Haas is from 10am-1pm, but if you wake up later you can still zombie walk there, they have breakfast all day!
Saturday night the epic High Waisted take the stage to rock your Halloween with The Coax, Secret Nudist Friends, and Pretty Greens at The Barbary. The show starts at 7pm and tickets are $8 in advance here and $10 at the door!
Vampire Disco: The (h)after party Warehouse on Watts– The official after party to the sold-out PEX Halloween XII party from 11pm- 6am+ features two floors of dancing, DJs, music, drinks, food and more. Get ready to live your best life in the dark of night at this epic dance party featuring some of our favorite DJs. Tickets available now here, so get yours because they will sell out!
Monday:
The Empire Skates Back featuring DJ DeeJay, Royale, DEL and Grotzy Versace is the roller disco party you cannot miss at The Fillmore. From 9PM-2AM the 21+ skating party takes over The Fillmore. Get your tickets now here!
Tuesday (HAPPY ACTUAL HALLOWEEN!!!!):
Alt-J at The Fillmore– ∆ Alt-J ∆ is back in Philly to play a sold-out show at The Fillmore featuring the sweet sounds of their new album Relaxer out now. The show starts at 8PM doors are at 7pm! ∆∆∆
4 Years of Mischief: Anniversary + Halloween Party at Toile– From 8PM-11PM our favorite store in Fishtown Toile is throwing their 4 year anniversary party this Halloween! There will be cocktails and treats, one of a kind creations from Toile designers, DJs Wassup Gina and Sean Hearn, Tarot readings by Mackenzie Flynn and raffles featuring some of our favorite local businesses!
Halloween Scaraoke at Ortlieb’s– Karaoke master Pat Pharari is throwing a Halloween Karaoke rage at our favorite bar in Philly Ortlieb’s.
