Thurston Moore’s new album Rock N Roll Consciousness is out this Friday, April 28th, and if new music wasn’t exciting enough, Moore announced a new tour as well! Thurston Moore will be going on tour in the US this May/July and will be heading to Philadelphia to play Underground Arts on July 22nd!

This week Thurston Moore released his new single “Smoke Of Dreams”, check out the video below! This taste of Rock N Roll Consciousness, starts off a bit melancholy and dark with captivating poetic lyrics, then brightens up when it weaves into upbeat drums, epic guitars and and mesmerizing bass lines that will have you dancing around your room before reminding you that this is a chill song… calm down. No, just me? That’s cool…

Rock N Roll Consciousness was recorded in London at The Church Studios with Paul Epworth and was mixed by Randall Dunn at Avast! in Seattle. You can pre-order your copy of the new record now on vinyl/cd via Rough Trade and digitally here!
