I’ll never forget when I heard this song for the first time. I was super busy, so much was going on, a lot of people were talking around me, and then all at once, it seemed like everything stopped and everyone fell silent. My brain and heart just linked and were consumed by the absolute, overwhelming beauty of this song. This song is perfect in every way: lyrically, the way it starts soft and with a siren, the builds and drops, the truthful passion in his voice. Songs like this not only send act as strong reminder of why I love music so much, but also reminds me of why I want to make a better effort to make my own.
