Incubus announce new music and summer tour with Jimmy Eat World!!!!

6 Feb

incubus-830x350

Just when you were playing A Crow Left Of The Murder on repeat reminiscing about the simpler times of the Bush presidency (and how fucked up it is that they were “simpler times”)… Incubus has announced that they are releasing new music and going on tour this summer with your other favorite band Jimmy Eat World!!! Further proof that Incubus loves us and wants us to be happy.

Something about this tour announcement makes me feel like someone on the Incubus team really wanted to make my life this year. I’ve loved Incubus since I was 13 and true love lasts a lifetime. Most of my “On this Day” reminders on Facebook are me at various Incubus shows over the years and to be completely honest, they are one band I actually miss while they are on breaks/ recording. Yeah, I’m a fucking megafan and I don’t care who knows it!!!

Incubus announced they would be releasing a new single, “Nimble Bastard” on February 16th from their upcoming album, due to be released in April (my birthday month conveniently). As if that wasn’t great enough, Incubus just announced a summer tour with none other than Jimmy Eat World. This tour will be part of a Live Nation promotion called “Ticket To Rock” which will allow music fans to purchase tickets for multiple shows at select venues for a discounted price. Check out the dates below and look for me at most of them!

Incubus/ Jimmy Eat World Summer Tour:

07/14 Holmdel, NJ – PNC Bank Pavilion
07/18 Boston, MA – Xfinity Center
07/19 Wantagh, NY – Nikon at Jones Beach Amphitheatre
07/20 Philadelphia, PA – BB&T Pavilion & Festival Pier
07/22 Toronto, ON – Budweiser Stage
07/23 Detroit, MI – DTE Energy Music Theatre
07/27 Cincinnati, OH – Riverbend Music Theatre
