Well, everyone knows of my undying love for Arctic Monkeys. Especially my poor friends who have to constantly hear of my delusional belief that I will indeed, one day, (meet, fall madly in love, and) marry Alex Turner (or someone exactly like him, if I’m lucky). Today I was stoked to see that Arctic Monkeys released a new music video for one of my favorite songs off of their most recent perfect album Suck It and See entitled “Black Treacle”. The video is a continuation of the music videos for “Suck It And See” and “Evil Twin” starring Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders and his gorgeous lady friend. But this time, to my delight, my 1950s-greaser teenage dream Alex Turner makes an appearance. The gorgeous video was directed by Focus Creeps. The new single, “Black Treacle” will be released on Monday January 23rd, but let’s face it, you should already own the album Suck It and See. This Spring, Arctic Monkeys will be touring North America in support of The Black Keys.
