I was so stoked when I first heard this song by Deap Vally. It’s gritty, raw, and pure rock n roll. Currently I am reading Neon Angel by Cherie Currie about her life growing up in the Valley and time in the kickass all-girl band The Runaways. So when I heard this song and heard that Deap Vally are two girls (Lindsey Troy & Julie Edwards) who also rock from the Valley, I couldn’t help but love the parallels. Deap Vally have some concerts coming up in California so make sure you check them out if you have a chance.
