White Reaper kicks off their Spring Tour this week in Omaha, Nebraska after opening a run of shows with Motion City Soundtrack. They are also currently sitting atop the Alternative Radio chart with their number one smash, Might Be Right from their latest effort, “You Deserve Love” (Elektra Records). Easily my favourite record 2019, it is rifftastic, anthemic powerpop from start-to-finish.
Before their 2019 Philly headliner stop at Underground Arts in November, White Reaper scoured the area heavily over the summer including playing with local legends Sheer Mag, tearing up the Radio 104.5 Block Party, performing a show in a recording studio (no, really!) in Lancaster and opening two stops in Bethlehem for weezer and The Killers!!!
2020 is looking to be a banner year for White Reaper as well, snatching festival slots at Shaky Knees, SandJam, Bottlerock and most recently announced, Firefly (at least that one’s still kind of local!). Not to mention opening May shows for their pals Jimmy Eat World and Pearl Jam’s European tour in July.
Tickets for White Reaper’s Wonder Bar show Saturday March 21 are moving quickly, so get yours and catch an intimate show while you still can!
