The 19-year-old New York artist, Sombr, began his musical journey by creating and recording songs in his bedroom, sharing them on social media. Now in 2024, he kicks off his North American Tour making a notable stop in Washington, D.C.
During his set at the Songbyrd Music House he performed his debut track “Caroline” alongside many pieces from his 2023 EP, “In Another Life.” Throughout the show, Sombr conveyed emotions such as hurt, love, and despair through his evocative lyrics and guitar use. He played acoustic guitar for the more mellow tracks mixed in with an electric guitar for the energetic rock numbers. Engaging with the audience, he shared the stories behind each song, making each moment of the show special for his fans.
