Who would have thought Tuesday is a great day for rock and roll? There’s multiple shows happening in the city, we just can’t decide which to pick. AC/DC and The Pretty Reckless are taking over The Linc for a massive stadium night.
Taylor Momsen’s gritty vocals in The Pretty Reckless are the perfect opener to warm up the stadium before Angus Young and company tear through classic guitar riffs. 10/1: Frog & Woods at Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia
Frog and Woods are playing Brooklyn Bowl Philly this Thursday, and admittedly, they initially caught my eye because, well, what a fun name. After doing some research, their live set is worth showing up for.

10/2: Skillet & Escape the Fate at The Fillmore Philadelphia
Escape the Fate was a core memory for me in high school, so seeing them on this double-header made me genuinely happy. A blast from the past to jump-start the weekend! Even cooler? There’s nothing quite like catching a band live on release day, especially when paired with Skillet’s high-octane rock energy.
