The Stepkids are an incredible band who make music that puts the groove back into groovy. Their live show, is no less amazing. With a psychedelic light show that covers them and their instruments, and encapsulates you in turn. When I first heard “Wonderfox” I knew this band was special. I love their layers of harmonizing vocals and how vintage their music sounds, while still exciting and new. Their video for “Legend In My Own Mind” shows the bands stellar sense of humor, so I was stoked to meet them. Turns out the guys are just as awesome as their music. I was lucky enough to catch up with The Stepkids in Philadelphia before they opened up for The Horrors. Check out the interview below, and click the picture above to see gig photos from the show.
