I was so stoked to come back from SXSW and find that the rocker dreamboat that is Miles Kane had an epic new song “First of My Kind”. As if that wasn’t dreamy enough, I found out the song was produced by another favorite of mine, Skream, who I finally saw perform for the first time with Benga on Tuesday. My body still hurts from the show at Union Transfer in Philly. Seeing Skream and Benga live has to be the best work out of the year, I danced so hard at that show for three and a half hours, I still feel muscles in my body I didn’t even know existed. Skream, who has produced and remixed many of my favorite artists, worked with Miles to make this track for his forthcoming EP by the same name which is releasing on vinyl for Record Store Day on April 21st. I love how perfect this song is for the dance floor, I would definitely love to hear this while out with friends! Check out the track below, and make sure you hit up your local record store on April 21st for Record Store Day to get this EP as well as other special tracks and vinyl from your favorite artists celebrating the wonder and beauty of record stores. Keep them alive and support your favorite musicians!
