Canadian singer/entrantress Grimes, or as I like to call her, Grimesezzzezz (in lieu of her Twitter name @Grimezsz) will be playing again in Philadelphia tonight at Union Transfer! The show starts at 8:30PM (Doors at 8PM) and tickets are 17.00 here or at the UT box office. Elite Gymnastics and Myths will be playing before Grimes as support so make sure you get there on time to check out both bands. Grimes has been one of my favorite new artists this year. With the release of her album Visions Grimes has been one of those artists where every single I heard made me want to the record more and more. Every song has a life and playfulness to it that is unique to only Grimes. There songs I want stuck in my head, which is great because most of the time, they are. I can’t wait to see her songs performed live and the giant dance party that will most likely ensue. Don’t worry if you don’t live in Philly you can still catch Grimes on the rest of her US tour which ends in December with the SS Coachella Cruises to the Bahamas and Jamaica. Not a bad end to an incredible year!
