Addicting, dark, and gorgeous, I can’t stop listening to this glorious new single from Banks. “Before I Ever Met You” is an undeniable hit from the LA-based singer. With strong, unforgiving lyrics and vocals, this song is a perfect addition to your breakup soundtrack. Inspired by two of my favorite women in music, Fiona Apple and Miss Lauryn Hill, Banks’ presence adds another brilliant, strong woman on the music scene for 2013. I absolutely cannot wait to hear more music from Banks. If her other songs are anywhere near as powerful as this one, I know I will have a new favorite album of 2013 (as soon as she releases it that is).
