Zola Jesus will be performing a very special, intimate show tonight at International House in Philadelphia with composer and symphonic arranger JG Thirlwell, who helped her adapt her work with Mivos, a string quartet, for her gorgeous new album Versions out now. The album is so breathtaking. The simplicity of just hearing her voice and the strings brings a whole new level of intensity to her songs that is unexpected and heart-wrenching. This live performance of the beautiful arrangements from the album is truly an experience you can’t miss.
