Valley recently played a show in Brooklyn to promote their newest album, Water the Flowers, Pray for a Garden. The whole visual and spiritual concept of a “garden” is an appropriate metaphor for the band’s current state—their latest album is a deep honest exploration of their growth and resilience as a band and their decade’s long friendship, including all the emotional highs and lows, the colorful flora, as well as the weeds, pests, and rough patches in between. Their current live tour and the new and long-time fans in attendance become a natural extension of that garden. And let me say, their garden has not looked better and bloomed brighter! This is the biggest headliner show I’ve ever seen them in and at their most confident, authentic, and joyful, with their connection together as a band feeling deeper than ever. This was one of the best live Valley shows I’ve experienced and this tour can’t be missed!
