On April 8, 2025, at Philadelphia’s The Fillmore, Franz Ferdinand delivered an electrifying performance that had the crowd buzzing from start to finish. Blending their iconic hits with fresh tracks off their new album, The Human Fear, the band kept fans engaged with relentless energy and tight musicianship all night long.
As someone who’s enjoyed their music for years, I was genuinely impressed by how dynamic and commanding their live presence was. While the crowd started off relatively mellow, the energy skyrocketed the moment those unmistakable riffs from fan favorites kicked in. When fan favorite, Take Me Out hit, the place absolutely erupted—you didn’t just hear it, you felt it.
From a photographer’s standpoint, the experience was top-notch. The Fillmore always delivers, but being in the photo pit between a band this electric and a crowd that enthusiastic made it something special. Everything truly all came together for an unforgettable night.
