Glory be!!!! Bloc Party are back!! I am so stoked (if you couldn’t tell)!! After four years of waiting, the band announced their new album “Four” would be out this year and is ready to pre-order here. When I first heard that Bloc Party was playing a show in New York on August 8th, I was one of the lucky people to get a ticket in the first 10 minutes before they sold out. The band added another show for the 9th which also followed suit. If you weren’t lucky enough to get tickets to either of those shows, the boys decided to add another date in New York for the 7th; making three nights of Bloc Party heaven for NY (and surrounding areas) fans! Naturally, soon after the NY shows were announced, a Philadelphia date was added for September 15th, which I also bought a ticket to the minute it went on sale. I cannot wait to see one of my favorite bands play twice this summer! After hearing “Octopus” I also can’t wait to hear the rest of the album.
