Although it is only my second day back to work from vacation, it is extremely hard not to daydream about all the good times I had in England for the past 10 days. One of my favorite parts of my trip was when my friend and I spontaneously decided to go to Brighton to visit the sea and wreak havoc. For not having much planned we had a total blast, met some really awesome people (Jim!!) and wanted to stay so much longer.
When I came back to Philly I heard this song by Swim Deep and it couldn’t be more perfect. I love how upbeat and fun it is! The song always makes me smile (and dance!) when I hear it and it takes me right back to all those incredible memories of my trip. I really hope I get a chance to see Swim Deep live this year, they are one of my favorite new bands. Swim Deep, if you are reading, feel free to come to Philly and play/stay at my house. You rule.
