It was love at first listen when I first heard Wolf Alice. The band from North London consist of Ellie Rowsell, Joel Amey, Theo Ellis and Joff (one name? Seriously? Who are you, Seal?…just kidding Joff!).
The intro of their new single, “Fluffy” knocks you to the ground with rock…you know immediately the track is going to rule. The track reminds me of a mixture of my favorite 90s grunge rock bands, and I am obsessed with the vocals. Girls can seriously rock, and the lead singer Ellie Rowsell definitely proves it. Plus, how could you not love the single’s artwork? (See Below).
“Fluffy” is out February 11th through Chess Club Records, but you can pre-order it now from Rough Trade. Wolf Alice are touring the UK in February starting with the NME Awards Show at The Waiting Room in London on February 11th. I can’t wait to hear more from this band, and hopefully they will make it to the US soon as well. For more UK tour dates, see below!
