My fellow Philadelphians will agree that yesterday was a bit of a (soaking) wet (torrential downpour) blanket on what should be the beginning of a sun dazed summer. And while I do love the sound of rain, it’s really the season of soothing vocals, lapsing melodies, and the moonshine vibe of Pure Bathing Culture.
Playing alongside the likes of shag-nostalgic Foxygen, Caveman, and rad ass rock n’ roller Father John Misty (tonight!), Pure Bathing Culture is on the rise like the heat of that sought after summer day.
