There is nothing better to waking up to an email from SongKick and seeing a concert notification for one of your favorite British bands, for not only NYC but also Philadelphia.
That’s right, I had to wipe my eyes to make sure it was real but yes, Little Comets are coming to Mercury Lounge in NYC on August 12th, and North Star Bar in Philly August 14th!!!! The band will be touring in support of their upcoming US release of their new album Life Is Elsewhere, out August in the US, and I am ecstatic to hear it live and pick up my copy from the band’s merch table at the show. “The process took a day to shoot with a week of edits, complicated by Mickey learning how to animate shot by shot. Meanwhile I created all the lyrics, writing each line out numerous times until my wrist was ready to fall off.”
