Mac DeMarco is throwing his own music festival at Dreamland in Margate this Saturday!!! Mac DeMarco… Will See You Now is a dreamy day of music and rides at Dreamland created by Mac DeMarco and London promoters BIRD ON THE WIRE. Mac DeMarco will headline the show which features some of his favorite acts including: Aldous Harding, Yellow Days, Tirzah, Thurston Moore, Amyl and The Sniffers, Kirnin J Callinan, Girl Ray, and Blueprint Blue. Tickets are on sale here and are £36 (£41 including all day access to rides)!!!
Dreamland will be completely taken over by Mac’s imagination, with bands playing during the day and ‘Mac to the start’ at night, featuring DJs spinning tracks from Mac’s first ever decade: his birth year 1990 until 2000…which means you can expect to hear some of our favorite songs from artists including Alanis Morrisette, TLC, Mariah Carey, The Breeders, Aaliyah, Suede, Lauryn Hill, and many more. Your resident DJs will feature some of the bands playing and Bird On The Wire friends!
If you didn’t think it could get any better, the park’s Roller Disco by day, will turn into the festival’s exclusive afterparty at night! Starting at 10pm, after live music has finished, all festival ticket buyers are invited but capacity is limited so make sure to sign up here.
The day will be filled with music and all attendees will have access to all amusements rides on offer, an all-day roller disco and a carefully selected number of food and drink stalls!!
The event is offering travel to Dreamland via London with official coach day-return and you can purchase your tickets for transport now here. If you are traveling by car or train, Dreamland is a 2-minute walk from Margate Station!
