Philly Shows NOT to be missed xx: Royal Baths, Far-Out Fangtooth and Lantern DJS at KFN / True Gold, Harsh Vibes, Store Cats, and The Sea Around Us at Silk City TONIGHT!

Well, my planner is full by the hour tonight! Two incredible shows are happening tonight, and I am quickly trying to figure out how to clone myself to be at both at the same time.

Royal Baths are playing at Kung Fu Necktie at 9pm with Philly favorite Far-Out Fangtooth as opening support and the loves of my life from Lantern DJing in-between sets and after. Royal Baths released their epic new album Better Luck Next Life yesterday on Kanine Records. Their tour started in Brooklyn, NY last night and continues tonight in Philly. I love the new record Better Luck Next Life, the album totally rocks. One of my favorite songs on Better Luck Next Life is rightfully the opening track “Darling Divine” and the following track “Burned”. Royal Baths have mastered the art of mixing gritty and sexy vocals with powerful and entrancing instrumentals. I can’t wait to see how they perform the new record live! The show is only $5 (what?!) so make sure you get there and come say hi.

Another cheap but epic show, some of my favorite Philly bands: True Gold, Harsh Vibes, Store Cats, and The Sea Around Us, play tonight starting at 9PM at Silk City for only $6. The band Store Cats will be celebrating the release of their full-length digital album And Other Mythical Creatures and their 7″ 45rpm Ephemera which you can check out here. I saw Harsh Vibes a couple weeks ago and they totally killed it, this is a lineup of bands you just don’t want to miss.

Get your dancing shoes on..and maybe your running shoes so you can run back and forth.

Check out my favorite track from Royal Baths’ new album Better Luck Next Life “Darling Divine”:
