It is going to be a dreamy time tonight at Voyeur in Philadelphia. Making Time’s Valentime special features two incredible bands: Dum Dum Girls and Veronica Falls. The show is only $15 (if you purchase at the door, $10 in advance) and from 9-11 there is free PBR and Sailor Jerry Rum drinks to help you get on your dancing shoes. I am particularly stoked for the show tonight because my sister is coming and I get to see two of my favorite bands live.
Philly is the third stop on London based band Veronica Falls current tour, following D.C. and Brooklyn. The tour covers some lucky cities in the US and Canada. Veronica Falls released their new song “My Heart Beats”, the first single to follow their brilliant, self-titled debut album which released last fall. Signed to Sub Pop records, Dum Dum Girls recently released their second album Only in Dreams and are touring in part with Veronica Falls in the US, then continuing their tour in March in France, Italy, and the UK. Dum Dum Girls are the girl band every girl dreams of being in: creative in songwriting, incredible live, and absolutely gorgeous. These are two groups I’d never heard of, but honestly make some seriously RAD music. Loved listening to each of these songs…I especially like Bad Feeling by Veronica Falls. But anyhoo, thanks for sharing these. This is such an awesome blog!
