Philly show NOT to be missed xx: Band of Skulls at Union Transfer TONIGHT!!!

Third time is a charm! After seeing them twice last week at SXSW, I am absolutely thrilled to be going to see one of my favorite bands, Band of Skulls play at Union Transfer tonight in Philly. They absolutely rocked (both shows) at SXSW and I am obsessed with their album Sweet Sour which came out in February through Vagrant Records. With songs like “Sweet Sour”, “Bruises”, “The Devil Takes Care Of His Own”, “Wanderluster”, “You’re Not Pretty But You Got It Goin’ On”, and “Lies”, the album has a perfect mix of rock and roll, sing-a-longs, songs you can dance too, as well as gorgeous and soft slower songs like the closing track “Close To Nowhere”. I am definitely excited to see them again and get my dance excercise on for the week, as well as lose my voice from singing along, which I did.. twice…last week. Who said SXSW had to end? With three shows this week, and two next week I’m just going to pretend I’m still there while back in Philly. Join me tonight and we can sing and dance along together, the show starts at 8:30 at Union Transfer and the doors are at 8pm. Tickets are only $18 so make sure you get yours here. Don’t live in Philly? Don’t worry, they are touring many other places, check out their tour dates here!

Sour by the minute but you’re sweeter by the houuuuuuuuuuuuuur!! One of my favorite tracks off the album, the title track “Sweet Sour”:

Another favorite track: “The Devil Takes Care Of His Own”:
