Philly show NOT to be missed: Creepoid, The Casket Girls, and Black Moth Super Rainbow at Union Transfer TONIGHT!!!!!

Today marks day 5 out of 6 work days/show nights for me. After a total raging week of seeing my dreams Neil Young and Patti Smith (Monday), Alex Clare (Tuesday), The Last Bison (Wednesday), Reptar and Rubblebucket (last night)…tonight I am super stoked to catch The Casket Girls open for Black Moth Super Rainbow along with Philly’s own Creepoid.

I am starting to think I should be sponsored by some sort of energy drink though…and vodka? Just throwing it out there.

The Casket Girls hail from Savannah, Georgia and compromise of Ryan Graveface (Black Moth Super Rainbow…see what they did there?..The Marshmellow Ghosts, Dreamend), and the gorgeous Elsa and Phaedra Greene (can you have cooler names?). Their debut album Sleepwalking is somehow creepy, dreamlike, and upbeat all at the same time. Some of my favorite tracks are “Sleepwalking”, “Whistle and I Will Come”, and the impossible-not-to-dance-to “Heartless”. This is The Casket Girls first tour and they will be stopping in Philly tonight to play Union Transfer. Tickets are $15 and you can get them here, the show starts at 8:30 so make sure you get there on time to see Creepoid and get a prime spot to see The Casket Girls kill it on stage (see what I did there?).
