Philly show NOT to be missed: Rubblebucket and Reptar at The Blockley TONIGHT!!!

Reptar_2012

Tonight, tonight tonight (woooooah)!!! You heard me, one of my favorite bands everrrr is playing a show tonight at The Blockley with Rubblebucket and Dangerous Ponies! Reptar is once again gracing Philly with their sweet feet-moving sounds.

I saw Reptar twice this summer, once at Firefly festival and in Philly at the Mad Decent Block Party, both times I got the dance workout of a lifetime. Since I have seriously failed at using my gym membership this year (here’s to 2013 resolutions!), I cannot wait to get my dance workout for the month with them again tonight at The Blockley. The show starts at 8:30 PM and you can get your tickets here or at the venue!

Reptar are from Athens, Georgia and this year released a new album through Vagrant Records/Lucky Number Music called Body Faucet. The album has been a happiness staple for me this year. No matter what kind of mood I am in, when I play this record there is immediately a smile on my face. I love how much energy and sass the songs have. They are also pretty impossible not to dance to…and I love dancing! Plus, if you haven’t checked out their website yet, make sure you do because…it should most definitely win awards!!!

SXSW has also announced that Reptar will be a part of the 2013 lineup, and I am so stoked I get to see them again at my favorite yearly event!

Listen to their new album Body Faucet on Spotify here and check out some of my favorite tracks below.

See you at the show tonight and make sure you get there on time to see all the bands!
