Arctic Monkeys have released a steamy, cheeky new track “Stop The World Wanna Get Off With You”, the b-side to their single “Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High?”. Listening to this brings even more anticipation for their new album AM due out September 9th, which is available for pre-order now! The album features appearances from Josh Homme, Pete Thomas, and Bill Ryder-Jones as well as the words of John Cooper Clarke. Listening to the tracks they’ve already released, I can tell it is going to be a new favorite album of mine on constant play.
Arctic Monkeys will be heading to Philly to play the Skyline Stage at Mann Center on September 18th you can get tickets and more info here. Also, they recently announced dates in NYC and Boston for the 16th and 17th of this month! In October, they will be heading to Austin to play Austin City Limits music festival. Arctic Monkeys are an absolutely epic live band, so if you have any chance to see them live you need to take it!
