I’m not going to lie to you, it was love at first listen with UK band Slaves. When I heard “Where’s Your Car Debbie?” I couldn’t look the band up fast enough, they seemed to good to be true…but they are.
The video for “Where’s Your Car Debbie?” is just as amazing and hilarious as the song, and with a 15 second gem called “Girl Fight” Slaves are easily turning into my new favorite band. Luckily for me, in my quest to see them as soon as possible, I noticed they are coming to the US to play SXSW this March! The band will be showcasing at Latitude 30 on Wednesday March 12th at 3pm. I am sure they are playing a ton of shows at SXSW and I am going to see them as much as possible and will update you and where to catch them and when. Slaves make a lot of noise for just two people in the band and with so much raw energy in their music, I can’t imagine their live shows being anything short of incredible.
