Indie pop group The Marías stopped in Boston last week for an epic takeover at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway for their 2024 Submarine Tour.
Lead singer Maria Zardoya opened up the show with “Hamptons,” the second track off of their newly released sophomore album, Submarine.
The setlist for the night was infused with tracks from their latest album along with ones from their 2021 release CINEMA. In both English and Spanish the crowd sang throughout the night to the bands hit songs. With trumpet solos in “Ruthless” and guitar riffs during “Run Your Mouth” it was impossible for the crowd to not immerse themselves in the ambiance of the room that was filled with musical elements of all aspects and pure elation from getting lost in sound.
