Dreams DO come true. My summer heartbeat Neon Indian are playing a show tonight with my band-friend-crush Friends at Union Transfer. It’s also my birthday at midnight, and I can’t think of a better way to spend it than dancing with friends to two of my favorite bands. Neon Indian are currently on tour and were recently remixed by Twin Shadow for a special single, “Hex Girlfriend” releasing on Record Store Day, April 21st. I spoke about Record Store Day before but I can’t press enough how important it is to support your local record shop, every day… not just this blessed day in April where all your favorite bands are releasing rare and numbered vinyl (I’m gonna need a cart guys).
