Today is my birthday, and I couldn’t be more stoked to continue the dance party I started last night at the Neon Indian and Friends show at the Exitmusic and School Of Seven Bells show at Johnny Brenda’s tonight!! My sister is coming to visit and coming with me to the show, I am so excited to see her. It will be nice to catch up, have dinner, and get our dance on at the show tonight. I can’t stop listening to School Of Seven Bells new album Ghostory which released in February. The album is full of dreamy, layered, dancey tracks with the most gorgeous vocals. The album tells the story of Ghosts, or as the band explains, things that happened to you that you just can’t let go of. During the fast and slower songs, I just can’t help but move to it. The album is stunning as a whole, and definitely going to be a major part of my summer soundtrack. I can’t wait to see them perform live tonight! Tickets are only $13 and you can purchase them here. Again, the show is at Johnny Brenda’s at the corner of Frankford and Girard, doors are at 8 and the show starts at 9.
