Philly show NOT to be missed xx: DZ Deathrays & Bass Drum of Death at Johnny Brenda’s TONIGHT!!!!

Yes!!! I feel like I have been waiting forever for this show. Not only are two of my favorite bands touring together but they are playing in Philly at one of my favorite venues, Johnny Brenda’s, tonight! Tickets are only $12 and still available so get yours now! Doors are at 8, show starts at 9. DZ Deathrays are two Australian dreamboats who love to party, can take down a bottle of Jagermeister like champs, and who make aggressive, heart-pounding, body shaking, super hot music which I can only imagine is mind-blowing live. For having only two people in the band these boys know how to make a lot of noise, and I absolutely cannot wait to see them live tonight! Their new album Bloodstreams is out now and fucking rocks. So you should buy yourself a copy, and then buy a copy for everyone in your family while you’re at it. Especially your parents. Trust me, they’ll love it.

As if this show couldn’t get any hotter, Mississippi heart throbs Bass Drum of Death will also be playing Johnny Brenda’s tonight with DZ Deathrays. For both many bands having the word “death” in them, I have to say I feel surprisingly alive when I listen to them. Another dreamy duo that are a whole lot of rock n roll, Bass Drum of Death’s album GB City out now through Fat Possum records and perfect for when you are getting ready to go out, throwing a party, or driving with your windows down with the volume all the way up…sure you might be deaf by the time you get home, but the feeling of the bass in your veins was worth it right? Right. And now maybe your neighbors know you listen to good music and hopefully will catch on. That’s tonight at Johnny Brenda’s times two.
