Tonight the light-show loving, shoeless, psych rock dreamboats Tame Impala return to Philly to play Electric Factory with brilliant band and Philly’s own Light Heat!
Light Heat is a venture of Quentin Stoltzfus, an incredible songwriter who, with the help of some friends, recorded a new self-titled album for his most recent project Light Heat due out June 25th, and he will be playing an in-store show at AKA Records in Philly to celebrate! They will also be making stops in NYC to play Glasslands in Brooklyn on June 26th and Mercury Lounge on June 27th! Light Heat have already released two songs I can’t get enough of, “And The Birds…” and “The Mirror”, and I am sure they will be playing them tonight, along with some more new songs as they open for Tame Impala at 8pm at the Electric Factory! Don’t be late because you don’t want to miss them.
The show tonight is sold out so it’s better to get there early anyway. Tame Impala are one of the best live bands I’ve ever seen so this is definitely the show to see in Philly tonight, congrats to all who have tickets and see you on the dance floor!
Make sure you get your copies of Light Heat’s self-titled album next week, and Tame Impala’s Lonerism from your local record store if you don’t have it already!
