One of my absolute favorite bands right now, Gengahr, just released the gorgeous title track from their upcoming album, Where Wildness Grows, due out March 9th on Transgressive Records. Singer/guitarist Felix Bushe says of the new track:
“Where Wildness Grows is an attempt to figure out what it is that makes us get out of bed in the morning. Where do we find the passion to create the lives we want for ourselves? And with these great expectations and ambitions, how do we cope when things don’t go to plan? I’m still not sure…”
The new album was recorded live and features some of our favorite tracks from the band including: “Before Sunrise”, “Carrion” and “Mallory”. You can pre-order your copy now here! The band also announced their upcoming Gengahr and Friends art exhibition, which will take place at A Side / B Side Gallery in Hackney from March 14th-20th. The show will feature work from Gengahr’s Hugh Schulte as well as work from Alt-J, Mystery Jets, Slaves, Marika Hackman, Toothless, and Puppy. If you’re in London check it out and tag us in your photos so we can live vicariously through you.
