Riz La Vie is certainly an artist to watch on the rise. Last night, he brought his ‘This World Could be a Haven’ tour to The Foundry in Fishtown and it did not disappoint. Riz’s sound ranges from R&B to electronic to rock, and his soulful voice seamlessly fits each genre. His performance led fans through a journey from partying to getting your heart broken and back again. The connection Riz has with the audience is contagious and he interacted with the crowd throughout the set, even leading everyone through a deep breathing exercise at one point.

Joining Riz was Johan Lenox, whose unique sound mixes hip hop with classical music. He performed with two violinists and a DJ, and even played the piano on a few songs. Check out his latest album, WDYWTBWYGU.

Meyru opened the show with their psychedelic pop rock. Check out more from them here!
