Chance Peña is a 23 year old vocalist from Texas who started producing music in his childhood bedroom. His 2022 single “In my room” exploded all over the sounds of TikTok and IG reels – which is how I discovered this young lad. Although I thought his voice sounded quite mature, his stage presence attracted a ton of high school girls who were eager to bear the Philly summer heat and wait at the front lines. With his Gucci belt on, Chance lit the place on fire on a rainy summer night at the TLA.
Despite the sound of rain and the roaring thunder Kushner’s show brought a full house as the crowd began singing away his melancholy tempos. Turns out the fans only wanted “a place to feel like home.”
