Pure joy radiated through Citizens Bank Park and honestly through me too.
Having been a fan of P!NK since I was in at least 3rd grade, being able to photograph her in my hometown was something else. Add Brandi Carlile to that mix, this girl was in heaven. Both put on an unforgettable concert on a perfect September night.
Fans of all ages came from all over the tristate area to enjoy the blissful energy of Brandi Carlile and P!NK. Brandi started the night off in a hot pink power suit, setting the stage for an incredible night of music at a packed Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. The singer is no stranger to our wonderful city and she made note that she always loves coming back and playing for Philadelphians. For her set she was joined by 3 back up singers, the typical rock band backing, a cellist, and a piano player; it made for an immersive experience.
Right after 9pm, P!NK emerged in typical P!NK fashion, attached to a harness plunging to the stage with her signature aerial arts showcase. Flying through the air, P!NK effortlessly sang her hit songs without missing a beat or catch. Joined on stage by a full crew of dancers, P!NK seamlessly transitioned from her dance tunes, like “Get The Party Started”, to her more soulful tracks, like “Who Knew”, with her dancers matching the vibes impeccably. P!NK used up the full stadium she was allotted with high flying aerial silks and pyrotechnics, providing an unforgettable night to all in attendance.
This was the 2nd time I’ve seen P!nk perform live, and I can’t wait for the next time!
