We were lucky enough to spend a sold-out Halloween night with two incredible bands, Slow Pulp and Babehoven. These two were absolutely meant to be on tour together. Their music fit perfectly into one another and those who came to see the the show were left far from disappointed.

Slow Pulp, a band that we’ve been absolutely dying to see live headlined the night. The crowd roared as Mystery inc assembled and went into what we believe to be one of their best songs, “Slugs.” There’s something about Slow Pulp’s music that’s incredibly addicting. Each song is delivered with such emotion. We made sure to make a mental note reminding ourselves to look up some of the lyrics that stood out to us later on. The Foundry was sold-out for a reason. Do not miss this tour!

Opening up for Slow Pulp was Babehoven. Babehoven kicked off the show by each member walking on stage dressed from head to toe as Luigi. Despite the humor in their costumes, they has a sort of gentleness in their music that’s primarily conducted by collaborators Maya Bon and Ryan Albert. Their latest single “Chariot,” a song about changing perspectives and sparkling through the chaos, debuted last month. With fingers crossed in hopes of hearing this latest single, Babehoven delivered. Keep an eye out for this band, big things are coming their way.
