The mighty Pop Evil made their way back to Philly to bring their new music to their devoted Philly fans. Thankfully, no amount of snow can stop Pop Evil’s dedicated fans from coming out to support their music. Philly always brings the heat so it’s no surprise the band brought it all for the show on the Music Over Words Tour!
You may know Pop Evil from their lengthy history of number ones but this tour focused on supporting their new album. Their single,“Walking Lions” just reached number one on the active rock radio chart and got the crowd moving when they played it live.
As a fan it’s exciting to hear the entire catalog expanding through their history.
“Do we have any old school fans in the house?,” Leigh shouted as the band kicked off their first song they ever wrote, “100 in a 55“. Fist in the air, the crowd (and I) went wild from hearing this classic.
Fans united together, singing the lyrics to “Monster You Made” in perfect harmony as they waved their phone flashlights.
“There’s no better feeling in this business than when your fans—your friends, sing your song back at you,” Leigh said to the crowd.
If you missed out on seeing Pop Evil, you’re in luck—they’re coming back this tour! I can’t wait to see Pop Evil back in this area super soon.
It was an amazing night and well worth braving the snow to catch up with the Pop Evil crew. For tour dates and more information click here!
