I love a plot twist.
I love a difficult journey with a happy ending.
I love the story of the underdog.
I love when the quiet, enigmatic person in the corner surprises you.
I love when struggle turns into success.
And I especially love when a song creeps up on you and hits you in the face.
During the COVID pandemic, I spent a stupid amount of time listening to music and curating daily playlists.
In the process I realized a theme in the songs that I was adding to playlists over and over again.
They all had a fucking great build up.
So I jotted down a few in my journal to keep track. And today I compiled them into a playlist.
