Philadelphia concert goers reveled in the city’s sincerely missed music scene for this sold out show at a new music venue.
The Bouncing Souls and Face To Face sold out the Brooklyn Bowl Philly in Fishtown, a new venue that opened just this month.
“How about this Brooklyn bowl place, fucking rad! It’s our first time here. So you’re all breaking it in tonight. Try not to spit on the floor, ha,” exclaimed singer Trever Keith
Face to Face shared fond memories in our city, sharing how they used to play the Trocadero. Many fans cheered in response from catching the shows at the beloved venue.
Touring in support of their new album No Way Out But Through they nicely tied in a mix of old and new. ‘Blanked Out’ was well received by the excited crowd.
While the new album is out, due to supply chain issues, there’s no physical copies of the album yet, but you can stream it online.
The crowd was thrilled to hear Face to Face play a few new songs, but erupted with a taste of old hits.
“How about an old song?!” and the pit opens. In this moment dans felt a true return to punk shows before the shutdown.
“Thanks you for being so cool Philadelphia. We hope to see you soon. We won’t take so long next time.”

The Bouncing Souls kicked off their high energy set with hit song, “Hopeless Romantic”, with fans readily shouting the lyrics back at them.

The band said this is only their second club show in two and a half years so fans were in for a treat for such an intimate club setting.
Bouncing Souls packed a lot of songs and memories into their hour and 15 minute set. The New Jersey natives reminisced about shows at Philly’s iconic JC Dobbs.
The band, all smiles and jokes interacted with the crowd all night. Clearly the guys are having as much fun as they ever were.
“This one is dedicated to the confidence store that we all love. Quick Chek!!”
One of the many highlights of the show was the hysterical antics between band members and the lighting crew.
“More strobes! Even more strobes!!” the band shouted. A flash of light and a glamours disco ball illuminated and the crowd rejoiced in a moment of joy — a release from the heaviness of the year. A taste of the city’s return to normal.
