Last night I had the absolute pleasure to see Belted Sweater perform live at the Pharmacy in the heart of Point Breeze in South Philly. A solo tour for the amazingly talented drummer based out of LA, this was a performance unlike any other. With catchy synths and driving bass lines, Belted Sweater mesmerized the audience with their electrifying energy. With just a drum kit and a computer Belted Sweater proves that minimal instruments can mean maximum noise.

I was blown away by two-piece punk band King Azaz and the wall of sound they created at the Pharmacy. This socially progressive band floats across genres and rocked the Pharmacy with their live show, with sick bass lines, and roaring drums. Listen to their music via Bandcamp above!

Philly’s screamcloud closed the show playing new tracks off their recently released new album Let’s Break Something– listen above via Bandcamp now! screamcloud had a peddle board of dreams and their live sound had dirty, grungy guitars, dark and heavy bass lines, and explosive drums which brought the new album to life at the Pharmacy. Check out photos from the show below!
